D turned 9 while last week. Amongst other things he received a hockey jersey emblazoned with the name of his favourite player Daniel*Sedin. His birthday tea was at Vancouver's famous chocolate buffet at the Sutton Place Hotel where he also received a surprise birthday cake. After overdosing on chocolate desserts in too many styles to mention, we won't feel the need to return to the buffet for quite some time.
