London with the Chuis
We managed to spend some quality time with my family during our visit. My Uncle, the noodle magnate, took us out for Dim Sum and afterwards we walked off some of the calories at the 3 Hills Park in Northholt. The 3 (there are actually 3 and a half) man-made mounds mainly consist of rubble and debris from the demolished old Wembley Stadium. The new stadium can be seen from the top of the tallest second hill. The photo of V and D is taken from hill 1 looking over to the hill 2. Above this, in case you were wondering, I am just tucking into some (cold) thai style boneless chickens feet. Hmmmm.

Nostalgic Oxford
We also managed to fit in a visit to the UK towards the end of summer. It was nice to catch up with family and friends. Apologies if we missed any of you. We spent a happy few days in Oxford visiting old haunts like the Natural History museum, Wadham College and of course Browns for dinner. Oxford is a place dear to my heart as this is where I met my wife K. The place never seeems to change either which adds to the nostalgia.

Summer Camp
Other things going on this summer included D's first summer camp. D spent 5 days in a cabin at Ness Lake Bible Camp with two teenage leaders and 7 other boys and had a whale of a time. He did riflery, archery, kayaking and general messing around in the lake but no showers or baths. This is a photo of his (40 year old) cabin but not of him as he was too busy playing elsewhere with his friends at the time. The whole experience was far harder on the parents than on him.
